ClockTally is a small collection of free time and work-hours calculators built around one idea: the best version of a simple tool shouldn't ask anything of you. No account, no trial, no upsell into time-tracking software — just a calculator that does its one job extremely well.

Most free time card calculators exist to funnel you into a paid product, so they stay deliberately limited. ClockTally has no software to sell. The tools here support the details real paychecks depend on — unpaid breaks, split shifts, overnight shifts, daily and weekly overtime, double time, and the quarter-hour rounding rules used in payroll — and they print cleanly when you need a copy.

Privacy by architecture

Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Times you enter are never transmitted to a server — saved timesheets and templates live in your own browser's local storage, on your device. That isn't a policy promise; it's how the site is built. The site is plain static pages with no backend at all.

Accuracy

The time arithmetic behind these tools is covered by an automated test suite — including overnight shifts, the 7-minute rounding rule, and overtime threshold edge cases. If you spot anything that looks wrong, please get in touch; correctness reports jump the queue.

ClockTally is independently built and maintained. It is supported by advertising, kept away from the working area of every tool.
